The movable Mobilio changing bench makes hygiene routines safe and comfortable for users with special needs. It also provides the support staff with an accessible, elevated surface where they can assist the users without bending or straining their back.

The high-quality changing trolley is height-adjustable, and you can quickly set the height with the hand control using just one hand. The bench can be delivered with drop-down bed guards to improve user safety. You can easily move the bench and the brake wheels ensure that it is securely fixed when the wheels are braked. You can also choose central lock brakes, where you can securely lock all wheels simultaneously.

Safe transfer and positioning

The free-standing Mobilio changing bench is a safe platform for dressing and changing adults and children with special needs. As you can lower the bench to 52 cm, you can enable low-level transfers. This protects the support staff’s professional health as it reduces the risk of back strain and minimises heavy lifting.

If you choose a model with a bed guard, the drop-down design ensures that easy access is still possible. It also provides extra security when the user is positioned because they cannot fall over the sides. For users with minimal physical capacity, transfers can take place with mobile or wall-/ceiling-mounted hoists.

Height adjustment with handheld control

Mobilio has a height adjustment range from 52 cm to 92 cm. It is delivered with a handheld controller that can be fitted to the bench, ensuring that the hand control is always within reach. The hand control has a 3-meter spiral cord, enabling support staff to use the hand control from all sides of the bench. It gives them freedom the set the height from all sides, and they can also set the height using just one hand, leaving the other hand free to support the user.

It is also possible to choose a battery pack for Mobilio. This way, you can eliminate cords completely and avoid being limited by cord length and power units when moving the bench.

A soft mattress and surfaces add to the user comfort

Mobilio is a great solution for assisting people with impairments with dressing and changing while protecting the carers health. But practicalities must go hand in hand with comfort to be truly excellent. That is why we have made the mattress of 3 cm soft PUR foam. This feels nice and warm to the skin and is very comfortable to lie on.

If you choose a model with bed guards, you can add a cover to these. The cover leaves the bed guards with a soft surface, and they can easily be removed and machine washed at max 95°.
