Functions and Advantages

swingline with manual handle for adjustment

Manual height adjustment

Depending on the model, the height adjustment range is 15 cm for models without Dock-In and 20 cm for models with Dock-In. This means the user and caregiver can set the basin to the exact height that suits the user's needs.

180° rotation

The SwingLine can rotate and swing a full 180°, making it easier to complete hygiene routines. The user can swing the washbasin in front of the toilet and wash their hands while seated, reducing the number of transfers required.

Maximum turning space

The movable basin can be pulled from the wall and pushed into, for example, the corner of the room, giving wheelchair users maximum turning space. The design ensure that both seated and standing users can access it from several sides.

Dock-In locking system

The Dock-In ensure easy locking of the washbasin during daily use. It comes with a grip for adjustment and a secure locking mechanism. When locked in the Dock-In, the basin supports a significantly higher user weight.

Generous legroom

SwingLine washbasin is designed for people with walking difficulties, the elderly, and wheelchair users who need sufficient legroom. The clear space beneath the basin allows a wheelchair to be positioned directly underneath.

Washbasin Designed For Wheelchair Users

For wheelchair users, a standard fixed washbasin presents a familiar set of obstacles: fixed height, insufficient knee clearance, poor reach, and a layout that forces additional transfers simply to complete basic hygiene.

SwingLine increases hygiene, makes the user more self-reliant, and gives the assistant better working conditions — three outcomes that are directly linked. When a user can wash their hands independently after using the toilet, it is not only more hygienic: it is more dignified, more efficient, and less demanding for everyone involved.
